Whole Dried Banaba Leaves

Banaba leaves have long existed within Filipino herbal practice as a material prepared through drying, steeping, blending, and repeated everyday use.

These leaves are kept whole and dried with minimal processing, preserving their structure, aroma, and material character. Unlike powdered or fragmented forms, the full leaves retain their identity — visible as plant matter rather than reduced into convenience.

Earthy, woody, and slightly bitter when infused, banaba has traditionally been prepared as a simple decoction or combined with other leaves depending on household practice and preference.
