Pili Resin Oil is distilled from the aromatic resin of Canarium ovatum — the same tree widely known for producing the prized pili nut of the Bicol region.

While the fruit of the pili tree is celebrated for its culinary value, the trunk also yields resin through careful incision. This resin, once gathered, is steam-distilled to produce an oil that carries a bright, resinous character lightly distinctive from Sahing (Canarium luzonicum).

Though both species belong to the same genus, their aromatic profiles differ. Pili Resin Oil presents a clean citrus lift with gentle spice and a strong balsamic undertone — structured yet sharper at the edges than traditional Elemi.
