Traditionally produced through the Agsana method, the Sea salt from Pasuquin carries more than salinity — it carries method.
Produced using the traditional Agsana, seawater is filtered through prepared sand beds and carefully managed over cycles of drying and re-saturation. The resulting concentrated brine is then boiled and reduced, allowing crystals to form through steady heat and attention.
This fine-grained sea salt reflects that layered process. Its texture is even and dry, dissolving cleanly in cooking. The taste is direct yet rounded — mineral-forward without bitterness, balanced rather than sharp.
Unlike industrial salts refined to uniform blankness, Pasuquin salt retains the quiet character of its making. It is shaped not only by sea and sun, but by the rhythm of repeated labor — gathering, filtering, drying, boiling.
Used daily, it performs simply: seasoning rice, broths, grilled food, and preserved dishes without dominance. It enhances rather than overwhelms.
This is salt made through continuity — a material shaped by place, technique, and memory.
